Based on a belief that public sphere leaders and practitioners often need to be better linked to know-how, experience and resources, our primary strategy is on facilitating knowledge exchange (including on how to exchange knowledge!)
We also seek to go beyond delivering passive information exchange and proactively support communication initiatives that build supportive bridges that will identify leaders while fostering a climate in which emerging practitioners may “learn to learn”.
Successful awareness-raising and knowledge-exchange will often reveal a need for resourcing by small governments and agencies as well as civil society groups and social innovators, CivicTEC’s third focal point is on building linkages to enable better use of connective technology, as well as using the connective technologies to… build better stakeholder and community linkages.
